Happy New Years! Scary to think we're into another decade :S

Here's my question. W(hy)TF are people linking this new years to the year of the rabbit! That isn't until February 3rd >.<! Even the asian news are doing it. Boggles my mind cause Chinese New Years and the english one have always been seperate for me.
